Veterans' Services Department

The Veterans' Services Department assists service members, veterans, surviving spouses and dependents in the community to learn about, apply for, and in some cases, receive benefits by furnishing information, advice and assistance to enable them to procure the benefits to which they are or may be entitled relative to employment, vocational, or other educational opportunities, hospitalization, medical care, pensions and other veteran benefits. Veterans' Services also assists in applying for a range of other programs and benefits including, but not limited to VA Compensation & Pensions, VA Health Care, MGL Ch115 Veterans' Benefits, Readjustment Counseling Services (Vet Center), Mental Health Care, Emergency & Transitional Housing, Community Housing, Fuel Assistance, SNAP, etc.   

As of June 1, Palmer has entered a joint service agreement with Ludlow Veterans Services.
